— UPDATE: The reason Edge is appearing on RAW next week is to promote the season premiere of Haven on Syfy on 9/13. As noted earlier, this is a ONE TIME DEAL and he’s not returning full-time or wrestling another match. They say “never say never” in pro wrestling but trust us when we tell you Edge and Mick Foley will never wrestle another match.
— ORIGINAL: It was announced on this week’s WWE RAW broadcast that “for one night only”, WWE Hall of Famer Edge would be returning to RAW next Monday night. Obviously, he won’t be wrestling and this is not a full-time return. He’ll simply be there to cut a promo and likely put someone over.
Next week’s WWE RAW takes place from the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON so it makes sense that Edge will be appearing while they are near his hometown.
