ORIGINAL: WWE RAW held up fairly well against the NFL Monday Night Football games. The Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins game did 16.52 million viewers.
WWE RAW on Monday night, the WWE Night Of Champions “go-home” edition of the show, drew 3.88 million viewers, down slightly from last week’s Labor Day edition of the show.
RAW on Monday did hours of 3.80 million viewers, 3.90 million viewers and 3.95 million viewers, showing steady growth from hour one through hour three.
It is interesting to note that the first hour fell in line with the normal average of the show, while hour two was way below the usual mark. Hour three, which went against the second NFL Monday Night Football game (Houston vs. San Diego — 10.95 million viewers) rose slightly even though the general pattern is for the final hour of RAW to decline.
We should have the final RAW rating up on the site shortly.
UPDATE: Monday night’s WWE RAW did a 2.91 (2.9) cable rating, up slightly from a 2.85 (2.9) cable rating last week. That is VERY good news for WWE with the NFL competition.
