WWE Battleground Update – Rhodes Dynasty vs. Shield?

While Dolph Ziggler is expected to feud with Dean Ambrose over the US title over the next several weeks, his title shot will likely not happen at WWE Battleground.

WWE is considering a “Rhodes Dynasty” (including Dusty, Dustin and Cody Rhodes) against The Shield for the Battleground pay-per-view. The stipulation would be that Cody and/or Goldust would get their jobs back if they can defeat the Shield. It should be noted that there is talk of keeping Dusty out of the match as he’s not in in-ring shape.

If Dusty were to be kept out of match, we would see Goldust/Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins. That would free up Dean Ambrose to face Dolph Ziggler for the US title at the pay-per-view. That is the more likely scenario.
