Mike Rallis, who played linebacker for University of Minnesota, recently spoke with Minnestore Daily about his tryout for WWE. Rallis had an official tryout with the company after failing to earn a spot on an NFL team and was flown out to Orlando for the tryout.
Rallis said, “I left it all out there in the ring those three days. For them to say that you did a good job, it feels good there’s some payoff for that.”
He added that he’s getting ready for a second WWE tryout, noting, “This year, I got to strap on an NFL helmet. I also got to step into a WWE wrestling ring, and I don’t think a lot of people can say that — especially not in the same year.”
