With only five matches official for the PPV broadcast of Sunday’s Battleground PPV, WWE is considering adding one or two matches to the card.
Matches being discussed are Kofi Kingston vs. Bray Wyatt and/or Curtis Axel vs. R-Truth for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Both matches had some set up last night on RAW.
As announced on last night’s 9/30 WWE Monday Night RAW, Cody Rhodes & Goldust vs. The Shield and Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow have been announced for this Sunday’s 10/6 WWE Battleground PPV from Buffalo, New York.
