After a period of speculation regarding his potential involvement, The Rock has confirmed that he will appear in Fast & Furious 7. There has been a question as to whether The Rock, who plays Luke Hobbs in the franchise, would be able to participate due to his busy filming schedule causing potential overlaps. Rock however posted the following to his Twitter today when asked if he would be going straight from filming Hercules to Fast 7:
“I am. Time to dance w/ an old friend. #RockVsStatham”
The film also stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese Gibson, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Tony Jaa, Ronda Rousey and Djimon Hounsou. It will release on July 11, 2014.
