— The gimmick that Wade Barrett will likely be given when he returns is “Bad News Barrett”, which he’s been using on the JBL & Cole show.

— ROH talents Maria Kanellis and her real-life fiancé Mike Bennett are the first names announced for the February 2014 National Pro Wrestling Day events.

— There will be a bus trip to the November 9 House of Hardcore 3 event in Poughkeepsie, New York from Queens and Manhattan. It will cost $85 and includes a ticket to the event, a pre-show Q&A and early admission. You can get details here.

— There has been a large amount of construction work on the former ECW Arena in Philadelphia. The plan was to re-open the venue this month, but now it seems it will be closer to January. The venue being closed seriously damaged the independent scene in the city.
