Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards have been on WWE’s radar for a while now, but WWE has yet to officially sign them. There are many in WWE who are pushing for the two to be signed or at least given an in-depth evaluation in NXT.
However, others in the company, including Triple H, think that WWE has signed enough top indy talent and has “filled its quota” on that type of wrestler. The belief is that WWE needs to now look for larger than life wrestlers so they aren’t left with a roster that looks the same.
