As we reported yesterday here on the website, WWE had a number of office departures over the last week.
Pete Leone, who worked directly under Triple H, left the company as part of the reorganization with Jane Geddes being promoted and now working under Triple H. Leone worked a lot on the logistical end of that office, including booking travel on WWE’s corporate jet, setting up security for talent appearances, and working on logistics of events held by WWE in conjunction with their partners. Numerous people were surprised to see him go.
Another staff member who left the company was Russ Bacon. Bacon worked on the production end for WWE for almost 20 years as a director and producer. Many were reportedly shocked by his departure.
Several other management officials and staff members were released last week as well. As of this writing, we don’t have their names but are working to find out more information. Stay tuned.
