Some felt as if WWE was behind the leak, in order to generate online buzz for his return. This is not the case, as WWE officials are said to be very upset that the news got out.

— Former WCW competitor El Dandy disclosed on Facebook that he is currently training for his first match in over a year. Now 51-years-old, he will face former tag team partner and rival El Satanico in February in Veracruz, Mexico.

— John “Bradshaw” Layfield mentioned on Twitter that he was doing voice-overs at WWE’s headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut over the weekend.
