He mentioned that McMahon wanted to do it, but Austin preferred having an in-person interview instead of over the phone. He said if their schedules link up he’ll try to make it happen. Now with the announcement that both will be in Las Vegas for WWE’s big announcement, it seems like it could happen sooner rather than later.
