— There is no word on if there will be any repercussions for Batista for his actions at last night’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view. My guess is that it’s unlikely but we shall see. For those who may have missed it earlier today, following last night’s WWE Royal Rumble PPV went off the air, Batista got in the face of a fan in the front row and flipped him off. Batista also proceeded to mock the Daniel Bryan “YES” chant before heading to the back. It is said that some people in the company backstage were not happy with Batista’s actions.

— As noted earlier here on the website, WWE has begun taking steps to prevent any outside wrestling groups from running any shows or conventions during the weekend of next year’s Wrestlemania 31 in Santa Clara, California. It is said that part of WWE’s deal with Santa Clara for the city to host Wrestlemania was that to lock in a non-compete deal with any city-owned facilities and larger hotel chains in Santa Clara. Promoters who have run wrestling events or conventions during Wrestlemania weekend in the past have been recently told that these venues will not be able to hold any wrestling events due to the non-compete agreement.
