Update – Major RAW Creative Changes + Diva Backstage

— WWE NXT Diva Lana is currently backstage at RAW. For those unaware, Lana has been Rusev’s valet down in NXT in recent months. WWE’s creative team has been going back and forth on whether to use her with Rusev or not. Nonetheless, she is currently backstage at the show. We’ll see shortly if they use her or if Rusev even appears on the show. He is backstage.

— As noted earlier here on the website, there have been major creative re-writes at RAW this afternoon due to the crowd reactions last night. As of 5:30PM EST, the script was still being edited. One source backstage at RAW noted that Vince McMahon was not changing the script because of the reactions to Batista and the John Cena vs. Randy Orton match last night, but “in spite of it.” The source notes that the new script is a major improvement from what was originally planed over the weekend.
