At this time, there is a growing concern within WWE that Alberto Del Rio will not be re-signing with WWE when his contract expires.
In the past, Del Rio has openly talked about retiring sooner rather than later. He will be 37 years old in May, already had what he considers a full career in Mexico before coming to WWE, and has now grown frustrated since he went from a top guy to being fed to Batista.
There has been no word that he has been actively working on signing a new deal with the company , which has led to the concern internally that he will not re-sign when his current contract expires.
We’ll keep you posted as we hear more.
