— As previously reported, John Cena did not work his scheduled appearance at the WWE live event on Sunday due to what was reported as an eye injury. According to one source, Cena was willing to work the show despite the eye issue, but WWE opted to pull him from the event.
Additionally, it appears that Cena’s eye injury may have come at the hands of Randy Orton, as Cena was reportedly poked in the eye during his match with Orton on Saturday night. After he was poked, the match was stopped briefly while WWE trainers checked on Cena.
