Going into last night’s WWE Monday Night RAW, WWE officials told Randy Orton to speed up his delivery on his promo to open the show.
The reason for this was that officials feared that if Orton took a slow pace that the fans chanting for CM Punk would get louder and “hijack” the segment.
It should also be noted that all WWE Superstars that had promo segments on RAW last night were told to not address any CM Punk chants. Basically, they were told to talk over any CM Punk chants and not stop while the crowd chanted.
