Hulk Hogan’s big announcement on RAW this week was that there will be a “30-Man Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.” Hogan said the participants will be competing for the “Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy”. He then pointed to the big screen where footage of an Andre trophy was shown. As we previously reported here on the website, there was talk of doing a Battle Royal for several weeks now as it’s a way to get most of WWE’s talent on the ‘Mania card. It’s basically a “reward” for working so hard over the past year and is also a big payday for those involved. They’ve done Battle Royals in the past for the same reasons.
It was also announced on RAW this week that Bray Wyatt vs. John Cena is confirmed for WrestleMania 30. This should come as no surprise to any of you who read the website.
