Recently after the WWE Network launch, a number of ECW PPV segments with New Jack were edited out, apparently due to the rights for the Dr. Dre/Ice Cube song “Natural Born Killaz,” which ECW used as New Jack’s theme song. WWE was unable to edit the music without losing the original commentary audio, so the matches were removed as a result.
In the last 24 hours, the ECW PPV’s with New Jack’s matches were reportedly pulled from the Network and replaced with a new version of the show. New Jack’s appearances have returned, but they now have a new hip hop style instrumental song that play during his brawls with new voiceovers from Joey Styles to replace his old commentary, which originally had Styles and Cyrus.
