Backstage Update – Samoa Joe-TNA Update

While there were reports that Samoa Joe was held off of this week’s iMPACT! due to a concussion, that doesn’t seem to be the case. Joe posted the following on Twitter today…

Joe has taken time off to deal with an undisclosed personal issue. One source does say Joe suffered a concussion during his March 28th match with Magnus in Lincoln, Nebraska but it was not severe and wasn’t enough to keep him off iMPACT!. It was described as “very minor” and Joe is the type of guy to never admit that he’s injured. The same goes for Kurt Angle.
