UPDATE: WWE is set to visit Saudi Arabia with three shows at the capital city of Riyadh. It’s the first time that WWE has had a show in the country. WWE is very popular in the country, have an Arabic website and debuted in the region in Egypt in 2012. They’ve also had shows in Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.
In an interesting note, Ticketmaster says on the website that the show is “for males only.” There are no Divas advertised for the show. However, 35 male wrestlers are in the country.
ORIGINAL: WWE stars a three-day mini-tour of Saudi Arabia tonight. The company will run three consecutive nights at the Green Halls Stadium in the capital city of Riyadh.
Scheduled for the tour are John Cena, Randy Orton, Sheamus, The Wyatt Family, Cesaro, The Usos, Alberto Del Rio, Kofi Kingston, Ryback & Curtis Axel, the Rhodes Bros., Dolph Ziggler, Mark Henry, Damien Sandow, and NXT star Sami Zayn.
