Following Netflix raising their subscription price by $1, there is a possibility that WWE will follow their lead and raise the price of the WWE Network by the same. If they were to do this, the company could make up to an additional $7 million or more a year in revenue. That is currently needed as the Network #’s are lower than WWE wanted despite them spinning them to make them look better than they are in press releases. Obviously, that is done to make the company look good and also to try and impress their shareholders.
Both Netflix and Amazon have both recently raised their prices for their services. The reason that WWE and UFC started their price at $9.99 was because Netflix established a low price point as the value of streaming services.
