Backstage Update – Is Kurt Angle Leaving TNA?

TNA started to hype Kurt Angle’s return from ACL surgery on last week’s TV. The feeling at this time is that Angle has either re-signed a TNA deal or officials are the under the impression he will be re-signing. We’re told that Angle’s current TNA contract expires in September. While pushing the return, the timeframe is five months, which means October after his current deal expires.

As for Angle returning to WWE, the last time that Angle’s contract with TNA was up, there was no contact from WWE. Vince McMahon was reportedly afraid for Angle back when the company released him, and does not want an Olympic gold medalist dying while under contract with WWE.
