Big Change To The ROH/NJPW NYC Event – Details

UPDATE: With AJ Styles recent IWGP heavyweight title win at the NJPW Wrestling Dontaku Event this weekend, it’s caused a change at the upcoming ROH/NJPW War of the Worlds event set for May 17 in New York City.

Originally, Kazuchika Okada was scheduled to face Michael Elgin. However, per ROH, Styles will now face Elgin since he won his match against Okada.

ORIGINAL: AJ Styles won the IWGP world heavyweight title this weekend. He beat Kazuchika Okada a the NJPW event Wrestling Dontaku. You can check out an image of Styles posing with the belt along with some other NJPW wrestlers in Japan from the event below:
