EVOLVE held EVOLVE 30 yesterday at the Lyceum in Brooklyn, NY. The show was said to have been great, especially a TLC match that closed the show. As noted, Johnny Gargano was pulled from the show. He noted on his Twitter that he either dislocated or partially fractured his jaw in Queens on Friday and will be getting X-Rays when he returns home to Ohio. He still did commentary on last night’s Brooklyn, NY show.
Results of the Brooklyn event saw:
*Caleb Konley pinned AR Fox with a small package after using his knees to block a 450 splash. I was told the crowd was shocked at Fox’s loss and this pretty much made Konley.
*Blake Edward Belakus defeated Ryan Rush. Rush is a NYWC regular.
*Josh Alexander defeated Tim Donst with a tombstone. Donst was a really good heel here.
*Jigsaw defeated Ethan Page and Chuck Taylor after a double stomp on Taylor. Lots of unique spots here.
*DGUSA Tag champions The Bravado Brothers defeated The Colony.
*Moose defeated Mr. A with a spear.
*Tony Nese pinned Rich Swann with the 450 splash in a great match.
*Uhaa Nation defeated Trent Baretta in what was said to have been another really good match.
*Rich Swann, AR Fox & Uhaa Nation defeated Tony Nese, Trent Baretta & Caleb Konley in a wild brawl that saw tables and chairs used.
