The Sun Herald recently interviewed TNA world champion Eric Young, who was promoting TNA’s live event set for today in Biloxi, Mississippi at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Below are some highlights.
Young on being world champion: “I’m living a dream. Being the heavyweight champion is all I’ve wanted to be. The heavyweight champion has the biggest clout in the company. It’s a big responsibility and a role I take very seriously.”
Young on his training from Waldo Von Erich, Carl Leduc, Scott D’Amore and Chris “Champagne” Kanyon: “I received good training from Von Erich, Leduc, D’Amore and Kanyon. I put in thousands of hours to become a good wrestler.”
Eric Young on being one of the last TNA “originals” left: “TNA’s a cool place to wrestle. I’m one of the four originals left. I’ve been on TV every week since 2004. It’s really cool to be through all the changes at TNA.”
