More On Shaul Guerrero’s Release From WWE

As previously reported, Shaul Guerrero (as Raquel Diaz) had been working in NXT as Baron Corbin’s valet. Since the two were only paired together recently, the decision to cut Guerrero must have come suddenly. In other words, WWE wasn’t planning her release and it was more of a a spur of the moment decision. For what it’s worth, Guerrero had a reputation of not taking training seriously and often requested time off. She actually “quit” the first time around and then wound up coming back.

There’s no word on if Corbin will keep working his biker gimmick now that Guerrero is gone.
