It appears that WWE is interested in another talent from Japan. With rumors that the company has signed KENTA and Prince Devitt (not Japanese, but worked extensively in Japan for NJPW) there is another name on the radar; Kota Ibushi. Ibushi is the current IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion, and works under dual contracts with New Japan and DDT.
In the past, Ibushi has turned down deals from All Japan, New Japan and WWE. Word is that he is exhausted trying to maintain the dual schedule, which is why he is not working this year’s best of the Super Juniors Tournament.
