Backstage Update – WWE & NXT Tag-Team Title Plans

There is talk of having NXT talents Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger getting a title shot against current WWE NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension in the near future.

Speaking of The Ascension (Konnor and Viktor), there has been talk of calling them up to the main roster shortly. The belief right now is that Erick Rowan and Luke Harper will be feuding with The Usos for the tag-team titles but the Usos are expected to retain. Following that feud, many believe that The Ascension are next in line to face The Usos on the main roster. If that were to occur, the NXT feud between The Ascension and Jason Jordan/Tye Dillinger would make sense as The Ascension would need to drop the NXT tag-team titles if they are called up to the main roster.
