John Cena Praises Alex Riley, Is Stardust Sticking Around?

— Madison Square Garden is advertising Stardust for the July 12th WWE event at the venue. As we’ve been reporting, the gimmick is expected to become a permanent fixture on RAW and SmackDown for the next several months.

— John Cena recently praised Alex Riley after he paid tribute to legendary announcer Harry Doyle on the RAW pre-show this past week. Doyle was the voice behind the Major League movies.

Some of you may remember that there were some reports that Alex Riley lost his push within WWE after John Cena ribbed him backstage and Riley “threw a fit.” Because Riley was a newcomer/rookie at the time, many felt that he should have went along with it and “sucked it up.” Riley’s push came to a halt shortly after the backstage incident.
