UPDATED: Thursday night’s LIVE edition of TNA iMPACT! drew a 1.01 (1.0) cable rating, up 13% from last week’s 0.89 (0.9). It’s the best number since a 1.02 on April 10th. The good news is that viewership was up a huge 33% from last week.
ORIGINAL: TNA has cause to celebrate today …. sort of! Thursday night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling drew 1.33 million viewers and a 0.5 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are up a huge 33% and two-tenths from last week’s one million viewers and a 0.3.
The viewership is the highest number since the February 13th episode drew 1.42 million viewers. Meanwhile, the demo rating breaks a streak of nine straight weeks at a 0.3 and the first time this year that it has risen about a 0.4. Obviously these are huge numbers for the show, probably helped by the lack of NBA competition.
