Torrie Wilson & RVD Meet Up (Photo), Connor Michalek/D-Bryan

— We reported several weeks ago that 8-year old Connor “The Crusher” Michalek had passed away on April 25th after a long battle with leukemia. Connor became a friend of Daniel Bryan after Bryan granted him a wish before a WWE live event. According to an article by the Pittsburgh, PA CBS affiliate, the Wyland Elementary School in Pittsburgh honored Connor this past Thursday as numerous students and family members held a moment of silence and then a ceremony where they all surrounded a tree and sent Connor hugs. The students planted the tree next to a playground that was built in Michalek’s memory.
