E! announced today, via press release, that the season two finale of WWE Total Divas pulled 1.55 million viewers. This would be a tie for the best number of the season, and also a great number considering that WWE was competing against their own Payback PPV. In the past, going against a WWE PPV has hurt the numbers. The show’s main story this week was the wedding of Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella. Here is the viewership breakdown for season two…
March 16th: 1.07 million viewers
March 23rd: 1.28 million viewers
March 30th: 1.55 million viewers
April 13th: 1.16 million viewers
April 20th: 1.39 million viewers
April 27th: 1.14 million viewers
May 4th: 965,000 viewers
May 11th: 750,000 viewers
May 18th: 1.31 million viewers
May 25th: 1.04 million viewers
June 1st: 1.55 million viewers
E! also added the following information about the show’s success:
* Total Divas has reached over 7.7 Million Total Viewers and 4.6 Million A18-49. Currently, Total Divas is a Top 5 ad-supported cable program in its Sunday 9-10pm time period with Women 18-34 (#3) and Adults 18-34 (#5).
* On the digital front, Total Divas garnered 17,000 Tweets and ranked as the #2 ad-supported cable or reality program of the night (excluding sports). Season 2 averaged a #3 social rank among ad-supported cable and #2 versus reality.
