WWE has been trying to increase the boos for Bo Dollas as a heel, hence why he came out and interrupted Daniel Bryan at the WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view, since not many fans are booing Dallas at the moment.

WWE saw Bryan as the best guy to put Dallas with to get those boos. This is also why he attacked El Torito on SmackDown.
