Backstage Update On The New WWE Logo & Title Belt

WWE will officially be switching to the new WWE logo as of SummerSlam. At that point forward, all of the company’s material, licensees and such will be using the logo, which is already part of the WWE Network.

The company will be debuting new championship belts with the logo around the same point in time, and going forward the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will only consist of the newer belt (with the brand new logo). When John Cena gave Ric Flair the World Title on RAW, that was a “quiet retirement” of the title as previously reported.
