More Backstage Notes From The TNA-NYC iMPACT! Tapings

— As of this writing, the following two matches are confirmed for TNA’s next set of iMPACT! tapings in New York City in August – Velvet Sky vs. Angelina Love vs. Taryn Terrell vs. Gail Kim in a four-way for the TNA Knockouts title as well as Bram vs. Abyss in a “Stairway To Janice Ladder Match”. “Janice” will be hanging above the ring and fire, tacks, barbed wire, glass and any other weapons are legal.

— The reason TNA did not use the The Menagerie’s normal entrance during the New York City TNA iMPACT! tapings is because the fans were so close to the talents during their entrances and they didn’t want to risk having someone get burned by the fire the group uses.

— As noted earlier, several students from Tommy Dreamer’s House of Hardcore promotion worked as New York City police officers during the New York City TNA iMPACT! tapings. We can now report that one of those students/officers was former WWE referee Kevin Keenan.
