WWE is loading up next week’s RAW with Flo Rida and others as it’s the “official kickoff” to the WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view in August.
WWE announced today that the WWE Battleground kick-off panel will feature Renee Young, Alex Riley and Booker T. As of now, the show will air exclusively on the WWE Network (that makes ZERO sense is you’re trying to get people to order the show!) and a pre-show match will likely be announced on tonight’s RAW.
Jim Ross will be taping a podcast with Tony Schiavone tomorrow night for an air date of 8/19. He has a show with Sting on 7/29 and the second part of his Kurt Angle show will come out tomorrow. Ross also mentioned he’s in talks of his first MMA broadcasting assignment and that a deal could be finalized in the next few days. He teased “My request for my broadcast partner might be a jaw dropper for some.”
