There is a story about former WWE employee Anna Bogomazova in the Russian news. She was the first Russian in WWE. In 2013, she broke her arm while training and was then called by WWE and told they didn’t need her services.
She said: “In history of WWE they never fired injured wrestlers. Usually WWE gave a second chance after injury. Even if you had a injury you continue to work there. You are visiting acting technique.”
Bogomazova and her lawyer are looking for money for the injury and more for damages. She had two surgeries and has a scar on her hand. She is currently getting into shape and hopes to return to wrestling. She had negotiations with WWE which failed and she now is planning a lawsuit. Her former coach said that “she became a star in the USA and took someone’s spotlight so the injury was a setup.”
