According to Zap2it.com, the WrestleMania 30 special which aired on NBC last night scored 3.9 million viewers. This is double what last year’s show did. The WrestleMania 29 special drew 1.92 million viewers when it aired on August 4, 2013. They also scored big in the 18-49 demographic with a 1.2, which is up 100 percent from last year’s 0.6 rating.
Part of the success was due to NBC moving the show to Sunday night, and using it as a lead in to the NFL Hall of Fame Game.
