As previously reported, Spike TV president Kevin Kay was at the last set of New York City iMPACT! tapings on August 7, which is said to be good for TNA’s negotiations with the network for a new TV deal. It’s unknown what exactly he was doing at the taping, but he introduced himself to many of the wrestlers while backstage. Kay is reportedly the one who made the decision not to renew TNA’s TV deal. If he’s interacting with the company’s employees it is seen as a good sign.
Another good sign is TNA celebrating its recent ratings success on SpikeTV, which could mean that the situation is beginning to progress forward.
