WWE VP of Venue Merchandising and Operations Alan Rebhun was fired after mismanaging the concessions at WrestleMania 30.
According to sources, Rebhun hired a sketchy vending company, who had previously gone bankrupt twice, to handle the concessions. They were said to be poorly staffed and disorganized and that a large amount of money was missing at the end of the night. Rebhun was let go soon after.
During his run, Rebhun was able to increase revenue by bumping up T-Shirt prices, though the figures have dropped again since his release. He was also able to keep costs down by having the crew travel with lots of merchandise, which saved money on drop shipping it to each venue. WWE has resumed the drop shipping since he was fired.
