— The WWE Night of Champions “Kickoff” pre-show panel will feature Renee Young, Booker T and Alex Riley. Also scheduled for the “Kickoff” show is “The Peep Show” featuring Christian and Chris Jericho.

— Kofi Kingston defeated Tyler Breeze with the Trouble In Paradise in the dark match prior to the WWE Main Event TV tapings.

— Adrian Neville and Sami Zayn defeated The Ascension after the WWE Main Event TV tapings but before the WWE SmackDown TV tapings. Neville hit the Red Arrow on Viktor for the win. Konnor was outside of the ring.
