According to sources, we may not have seen the last of Bully Ray in TNA, despite Ray not signing a new contract with the company.
Ray is reportedly expected to appear at the next set of iMPACT! Wrestling tapings in order to continue the tag team series with The Wolves and The Hardys for the tag team titles. In addition, he and Devon are still set to receive a TNA Hall of Fame induction at Bound for Glory next month.
It is unknown if Ray wants to sign a new deal or if he is just working with the company on a per-appearance basis until Bound for Glory. Bully Ray’s old TNA deal was reportedly not the level of hulk Hogan or AJ Styles, so he could be angling for more money in a new deal.
It’s worth noting that Bully has told friends that he loves being a part of TNA and would like to stay but it all comes down to contract negotiations … aka money. He’s also open to finishing out his current storyline as he doesn’t want to “screw TNA over” on the way out. Keep in mind that if the two sides can agree to terms in the coming weeks, it’s very possible that Bully Ray will wind up staying with TNA after all.
