— Looks like fans took a couple weeks, but they found iMPACT! on Wednesday. The show drew 1.10 million viewers and a 0.4 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic last night. That’s up 18% and a tenth, respectively, from 928,000 and a 0.3 the week before. The show is continuing to gain ground in its new timeslot and it is nearly up to the 1.13 million that the show drew in its last Thursday airing.
The household rating will be available later.
— As noted earlier, TNA has put house shows on hold. The company has reportedly released several office employees, who were believed to be part of the live events department, and there may be more talent leaving.
Currently the company has shows scheduled through September 19th and the Bound For Glory. After that, no live events are scheduled into the UK tour in January.
It is worth noting that earlier reports suggested that the company may be overhauling their house show strategy as part of their restructuring, and that may well have to do with the hiatus.
