— The Friday, August 29th edition of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.730 million viewers, according to Nielsen Media Research. That marks an increase in viewership from the previous week’s show, which averaged 2.461 million viewers. SmackDown was the highest rated original program on cable television last Friday night.
— In a bit of an interesting note from Monday’s RAW in Des Moines, Iowa, apparently neither of the Seth Rollins t-shirts were available at the merchandise stands. As seen on RAW, Rollins, who is from Iowa, was over huge in the arena, which means WWE likely lost out on a decent chunk of merchandising money by not selling the Rollins t-shirts.
— Filming began for the sequel to the “Magic Mike” movie, which featured Kevin Nash in a small role, this past weekend. There is no word as to whether or not Nash will be appearing in the sequel, which is called “Magic Mike XXL,” however he did re-tweet an article on People.com about the new movie.
