With regards to the X-Division title change during last night’s iMPACT! Wrestling TV tapings, Low Ki won the title and became the new X-Division champion last night (Sept. 19). Low Ki won a Fatal 4-Way against Tigre Uno, Manik, and DJ Z in order to win the belt.
Samoa Joe was reportedly forced to drop the title because he was injured during the first set of iMPACT! Wrestling tapings held last Tuesday (Sept. 16). Joe tried to work through the injury, but he only made it worse by doing so. As a result, Joe was forced to vacate the title, and the belt was put on Low Ki.
The details regarding the nature Joe’s injury and the amount of time off he needs are unknown.
