It would appear that WWE and CM Punk have come to an agreement in their dispute over Punk’s merchandise. WWE has started putting Punk-related items back for sale on WWEShop.com that were pulled after the former WWE star’s deal expired over the summer.
As had been previously reported, Punk was in a dispute with WWE over his merchandise rights after he walked out on the company in January. WWE felt that Punk had breached his contract while Punk was threatening legal action over failing to get moneys owed him in regard to the merch. sales. Most recently it was noted that Punk’s hoodie in the about-to-be-released WWE 2K15 had been censored and replaced with a generic grey one.
Punk has expressed no interest in returning to wrestling and is calling himself a retired professional wrestler when asked. WWE has not officially commented on the reinstitution of Punk’s merchandise to their online store.
