As of Wednesday, Kurt Angle had yet to sign a new deal with TNA. As noted recently, the belief is that Angle’s talks with WWE are finished, with many assuming that he will reach a deal with TNA and likely end his career with the promotion.
Angle reportedly wants to sign a part-time deal with TNA, primarily so he can focus on outside projects. The belief is Angle wants the deal to be for around 12 or 18 months.
As noted yesterday here on the website, there is said to be a strong feeling within TNA that Impact Wrestling will remain on Spike TV. If true, this would likely result in TNA having to settle for the lower pay that Spike TV offered them.
A Spike TV source recently confirmed that both sides are still in negotiations, while people in TNA support the claim by saying that the two sides never stopped talking and re-signing with Spike has always been an option.
