According to sources, TNA is planning to “reboot” iMPACT! when they debut on Destination America. The plan is to debut new graphics and a change in the way the show is visually presented.
Among the biggest changes planned is that Josh Matthews, who signed on with TNA after he was released by WWE earlier this year, will replace Mike Tenay on the commentary team. TNA brought him in to be an announcer originally and relocated him to TNA’s home city of Nashville, where he’s been working on several different projects over the past few months.
Matthews will be working alongside Taz while Tenay will be working in a backstage role, possibly in the gorilla position feeding lines to Matthews and Taz? That’s just a rumor as of now.
More shortly.
