In an interview with The Oklahoman, Jack Swagger spoke about what he wants to be remembered for when his career is over. Here are highlights:
On his time with WWE’s ECW brand: “It was very tiresome at times, a lot of small shows in front of 50 to 100 people. You just had to kind of see the finish line.”
On his feud with Rusev: “That angle we did with Rusev was one of those storylines that comes along once in a career. I still get goose bumps the way that crowd reacted.”
On his goals: “I’m ambitious, and I just want to transcend a generation. I want, decades from now, people to look back and talk about Jack Swagger’s matches or the impact he had on sports entertainment.”
Here’s a little unknown fact for ya’ – did you know that Jack Swagger smokes cigarettes? The only other WWE Superstars that we know of who smoke (or used to smoke) are The Big Show and Randy Orton. If you’re interested, you can click here to see a photo of Swagger puffing a smoke (cigarette).
