Here is some more news on TNA’s pending future on TV. According to a source, TNA is in talks with Destination America as a possible new home for iMPACT! Wrestling. The channel is part of the Discovery Network and is available in approximately 60 million homes in the US.
Sources claim that Destination will know TNA’s decision regarding the deal before the end of the week. The ongoing talks have reportedly been a source of frustration for TNA wrestlers. Some talents have been told Spike TV is still a front-runner for TNA’s new TV deal. Other reports suggest that Spike TV is no longer in the running.
Currently, Spike TV will be running episodes of iMPACT! Wrestling through November 19. The show will be pre-empted on November 26 for Thanksgiving. Spike TV will then air some TNA Best Of shows through December, and iMPACT! will be pre-empted again for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Spike TV officials have continued saying that no decision on TNA’s future has been reached yet.
